He needed a brand that reflected that. Not a surf industry template. Something that felt like the skim community actually looks — raw, specific, a little underground.

I did the branding, merch, board art, and wholesale book. The work was rooted in craft and character — built to compete visually with established names in the category while feeling entirely its own.

This one wasn't about conversion rates or campaign sequencing. It was about doing right by a friend and a craft worth taking seriously. Sometimes that's the whole brief.
